IQAC – Home

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Faculty of Nursing is established in September 2020 under the directive of the Center for Quality Assurance of the University of Colombo. The committee liaises with the Director, Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) of the University of Colombo to coordinate university level Quality Assurance (QA) activities.

IQAC is responsible for the faculty’s academic quality framework, research and social responsiveness. For that, the committee works with other related committees within the Faculty such as Curriculum Development and Evaluation Committee, Research committee and Welfare committee.

The Cell monitors and ensures the quality of the core functions of teaching & learning and research. Further the IQAC Acts as the overall coordinating body for faculty-wide reviews which conduct by the Higher Education Quality Committees or other relevant external bodies.
